Can one employee work at two of our hotels?
Yes. Each shift is recorded against the property where it was worked, so an employee's history stays correct when they transfer or cover another hotel.
PunchMan began as a time clock for hotels: one kiosk per property, staff who work different shifts in different departments, and owners who need every hotel's hours in one place without driving between them.
A hotel runs around the clock. Night auditors clock out after midnight, housekeeping starts early, banquet staff work split shifts, and a single employee may cover two properties in the same week. Paper cards and old punch clocks get the start and finish times, but someone still has to add them up, catch the missed punch-outs and type everything into payroll.
PunchMan records each shift as one row, from punch-in to punch-out, even when it crosses midnight. Hours are added up per day, per week and per two-week pay period automatically, in the property's own time zone.
Every hotel gets its own private kiosk link. Open it on the front-desk tablet or a back-office PC and it becomes that property's time clock, showing the hotel's name and its own color so staff can always see which property they are punching in at.
The kiosk is built for a shared screen in a public area: opening it signs any manager out of that browser, and getting back to the manager side always takes a password.
An owner sees every property from one login and switches between them from the top bar. A general manager or department head can be limited to only the hotels they run. Each property keeps its own employees, time zone, kiosk, pay-period settings and report recipients, and every customer company on PunchMan is completely separate from every other.
Every other Sunday at 6:00 AM, in each hotel's local time, PunchMan emails that property's pay-period report to its management team: a summary, a day-by-day table, and three CSV files (totals per employee, daily hours per employee, and every shift). Managers can also print one signed-off timesheet per employee, or export a payroll CSV or QuickBooks IIF file. Optional overtime rules flag hours past a weekly threshold, and a daily one where your state has it.
Missed punch-outs are fixed in Timesheets, and every correction is recorded in the activity log with who made it and when.
